After the Witch-King died, one of the other Nazgul became Faction Leader instead of Sauron. As it turns out, you actually can give someone the "Faction Leader" trait by typing "give_trait Factionleader." So, I can give Sauron the "Faction Leader" trait, but the game still does not recognize him as the leader. It still calls him

Generalโ€™s Bodyguard โ€“ 2. Spear Militia โ€“ 6. Peasants โ€“ 1. Peasant Archers โ€“ 4. Norse Archers โ€“ 2. Denmark start off in a strategically enclosed area. They can expand safely into Scandinavia and also take the provinces south of Arhus and then you hit a problem. The Holy Roman Empire will pose a barrier to your further expansion. At

Most powerful faction I'd have to give my vote to Russia. Infantry - Dismounted Boyar Sons and Bedirche Axemen. Dismounted Boyar Sons can whip a unit of feudal foot knights in melee, and also make a nice flanking unit because of their AP ability. The real king of AP and flanking is Bedirche axemen, who are better than Norse Axemen because of
I just purchased Medieval II - Definitive Edition after reading in the game description that there should be tens of factions to play with i.e. European; Native American and Middle Eastern however when I launch the game I see a map of Europe and the Middle East only and I can choose from 5 European factions to play only i.e. England, France, Holy Roman Empire, Spain and Portugal
french aventurier, if you are patient enough TheLastAvatar05 14 years ago #5. Kingdom of England. Their Sherwood Archers are perhaps the best archers you could get. Proud Member of Squad 422. "Altaha Abilia". Dodds101 14 years ago #6. England 100% foot archers. Horse archers Turks.
The battles of the Total War series, Medieval II included, occur in real time. Everything else, usually referred to as the "campaign", occurs in a turn-based style. The battles take place on a totally different map than the campaign, in spectacular 3D environments (although the battle map is based on where the armies are on the campaign map, so
Total War: Medieval 2: Total War: Rome 2 has grown into one of the best historical titles in the Total War series. These diverse factions made Total War:
Egypt: Gameplay Information. Egypt stands on the brink of sparking off Total War with its lust for the Holy Lands. It relies on itโ€™s depth and quality of cavalry types for victory, early on calling on the average Desert Cavalry for skirmishing duty, and the light Arab Cavalry to finish them off. Mamluk Archers are an elite horse archer unit

Medieval II: Total War. What is the hardest faction to play? ElChino223 14 years ago #1. I would say the hungarians. mrmystic 14 years ago #2. Hungary is pretty easy for me. I would have to go with France or Portugal. Whenever I play as France HRE ends up walking through me, and as Portugal I end up getting attacked by both France and Moors in

Shogun 2: In the vanilla game, the Uesugi have a rough starting position. I think the Otomo get it worse though, as their religion causes severe penalties with their neighbors. Rome II: Ardiaei. They are legendarily abysmal. Attila: It would be easiest to name the factions that AREN'T difficult to play. The Sassanids. I had some hope for the full release of the Westeros Total War mod but with every unit costing a few hundred gold in upkeep and every faction starting out with a deficit of thousands of gold it ruined my fun pretty quickly.

The more money you make, the more armies you can create, the more alliances you can sell. Your allies will declare war on you because its Medieval 2. And then, because you are strong and have other allies, they will want to make peace again. Always ask for provinces in peace treaties, this is how you grow your empire.
