The V7 III family doubles and, alongside the well-known Stone, Special and Racer, now come the V7 III Rough, V7 III Milano and V7 III Carbon, three new versions distinguished by different packages obtained through the originality and skill of introducing a series of special parts that give each bike a very different connotation and a unique Moto Guzzi capitalizes on the V7’s success with a new street scrambler. the V850X carries less gas in its redesigned tank than the surprisingly capacious 5.5 gallons of the V7 Stone and Special.
Although Shoreditch 'hipsters' would probably think the CBR was fashionably ironic. The V7 Stone is the third bike in my long-term comparison of machines suitable for A2 licence holders. That means it makes 48hp, the same as Honda's CBR500R, my running favourite, but at £6,832 on the road, costs £1,733 more.
But there are, in fact, quantitative differences between the models in the 2012 and 2013 V7 range: The claimed increased power (50 hp vs. 48.8) and torque (44.0 ft.-lb. vs. 40.3) produced by the

For 2021, Moto Guzzi is introducing two versions of its least expensive model, the V7 Stone and V7 Special. Both are powered by a new 850 cc engine that's a version of the powerplant in the V85 TT . The larger engine means the V7s get a boost from a claimed 52 horsepower at 6,200 rpm to 65 horsepower at 6,800.

The center of gravity is higher on the V7 making the bike feel more substantial and heavier. I felt like I like looking down on the V7 from the rider position more than the Royal Enfield. The Royal Enfield I felt like it was made on a budget and the fit and finish did not look as beautiful as it did on the Moto Guzzi.

I was at the Moto Guzzi 75th Raduno in 1996 and visited the Agostini shop. Like a fantasy land of fantastic Moto Guzzi bits.. My personal experience has been mostly with older big block Guzzis from the ‘70s and ‘80s. They had their amusing niggles which I sorted out to my satisfaction, but were fundamentally beautiful, solid pieces of
Making its début on the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone is the new full LED lighting system, from the headlamp with DRL that traces the outline of the Moto Guzzi eagle. Moto Guzzi V7 Special. This
Reliability of Guzzi vs other brands. My bike (Quota) is a pup with 24K. Outside of oil leaks, cracked rear rim and installing a battery reversed polarity and killing the regulator (I guess this is my fault). I expected any bike under 35K miles to be reliable. I had 1993 GSPD for 19 years only 44k miles.
I really like the Moto Guzzi V7 and the unfortunately named Stone, shaft drive, decent front brake and fork. I think it's a winner in the category of retro bikes. The Triumph is a poorly suspended overweight pig. I have one of those. Only redeeming feature is sweet 270 deg. in the Scrambler and easy to work on. Aftermarket is good too.
